Christmas Essentials

Who can say what is essential for Christmas? Nobody, as it is more about feeling inside than outside decorations. Especially this year with all the panic and chaos around I wanted to go to simplicity. 

Picked some branches in the local park and made a wreath. Strong linen thread, a little bit of golden thread (almost invisible), few tiny branches of berries, some of them I covered in gold for more vintage feeling and that's all. You can put a bit of red ribbon or glass ornaments into it for more festive look. Tip: after picking branches, don't let them dry out before wrapping. Spray with water regularly or keep in the cold and moist environment.

Other little joys: natural beeswax candles from the local shop, evening walks with lights. wrapping Christmas presents.
